Kenzie is Eight!
It finally arrived! She had been counting down since about last December. Kenzie's 8th birthday was here and it was the best day ever! This being such an important birthday and all, we wanted to do something special. So, we sent Kenzie on a treausre hunt...she was so cute looking for her clues all through the neighborhood with cousins Carson and London and brother Brady. They were tricky clues 'cause Mom decided to bust out all of her rhyming skills on poor Kenzie and she had to decode some random words that Mom put together that really did rhyme at 11:30 the night before!
She finally found her treasure box with her white baptism dress in it and "My Three White Dresses" poem. She was so happy and enjoyed every minute of her suprise. I love that she is a girly girl. She twirled around and around in her dress and couldn't be more excited. Grandma and Grandpa Maylett and Grandma and Grandpa Cashmore came to help us celebrate and eat cake and ice cream! All three of our kids ate their weight in cake and ice cream. We thought we would have sick kids the next day but we have conditioned them well.
Happy Birthday Kenzer Bug! We love you!

That was seriously the cutest idea ever. What a great mom you are! I may have to steal your idea when Jaxson turns eight.
You are so thoughtful and your kids are the best. What a lucky girl to have you as her Mom. She is pretty special, too.
Your blog is so cute. We love you Kenzie, thanks for letting us come to your birthday.
