24th of July
This year we spent the 24th of July with the Cashmore's. We love to eat so of course it started out with breakfast and then was followed by water fights and an afternoon at the movies. We love baseball!! We went to the bees game for some good baseball and fireworks. Something else we love, potty training! Easton (and Mom) saw the first firework and then 20 minutes later....we saw the last firework of the finale!
We had a blast none the less.

Baseball Days
We are sad to see the days of baseball pass this summer! Brady had an amazing time playing with his peeps in the neighborhood. He would wake up each morning and ask if it was a baseball day and then counted the hours until we made it to the park. He is a sports junkie, I think he has a little Cashmore blood in him. We love to watch him play. He can't wait until next fall!

Kenzie is Eight!
It finally arrived! She had been counting down since about last December. Kenzie's 8th birthday was here and it was the best day ever! This being such an important birthday and all, we wanted to do something special. So, we sent Kenzie on a treausre hunt...she was so cute looking for her clues all through the neighborhood with cousins Carson and London and brother Brady. They were tricky clues 'cause Mom decided to bust out all of her rhyming skills on poor Kenzie and she had to decode some random words that Mom put together that really did rhyme at 11:30 the night before!
She finally found her treasure box with her white baptism dress in it and "My Three White Dresses" poem. She was so happy and enjoyed every minute of her suprise. I love that she is a girly girl. She twirled around and around in her dress and couldn't be more excited. Grandma and Grandpa Maylett and Grandma and Grandpa Cashmore came to help us celebrate and eat cake and ice cream! All three of our kids ate their weight in cake and ice cream. We thought we would have sick kids the next day but we have conditioned them well.
Happy Birthday Kenzer Bug! We love you!

So This Is A Blog?
So... here it is. Our first family blog. After much discussion, coaxing and begging from Kris, Mitch, against his better judgement, finally acquiesced and agreed to post a blog. Last time something like this happened we ended up with a minivan. We'll leave that story for another posting.
Big Week
Big things are afoot around here this week. First, and foremost, it's Kenzie's 8th birthday. Big stuff. If anyone is interested in her birthday list, it might be easier to just hand her your credit card. Make sure it has an open balance. We're just starting to learn around here that birthdays are going to start costing us.
Brady lost his first tooth today. He took it like a man and is looking forward to making a killing off of the tooth fairy. Little does he know that the tooth fairy that was assigned to our route is kind of a tight-wad. Luck of the draw.
Well, we're glad you would come visit our first posting. We're happy to have you. Make yourself at home in this blog and come visit often. One lucky visitor could walk away with a minivan.
